Now Christmas time is gone it is a good time to do some detox diet with a seriously healthy recipe: Cherry Tomato salad.
History: the word “salad” comes from the French salade of the same meaning, which in turn is from the Latin salata, “salty”, from sal, “salt”.
Total time: 15 minutes.
Ingredients: 2 cups of cherry tomatoes, 5 bacon slices, 1/2 cup mayonnaise,10 leaves lettuce, 2 tablespoons, chives 1 tablespoon vinegar, 2 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin if possible), 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions:: it’s super easy, wash and dry the tomatoes. Cook the bacon until it is crispy (you can use some paper towels to drain them). Mix vinegar, olive oil, mayonnaise and salt. Pour over cherry tomatoes and crumble bacon over all. Finally serve on lettuce leaves with chopped chives. Ready to serve!
