Autumn is here with a lot of great ingredients. Today, Clay Douglass favorite autumn recipe is the Pumpkin Chili.
Ingredients: 3 pounds of ground beef, 2 cups of pumpkin, 2 cans of red beans, 2 chopped onions, 15 ounces of chopped tomatoes (preferably can tomatoes), 1 tablespoons of chili powder or as desired, 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper or as desired, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 bay leaves.
Instructions: In a large pan, first add the onions until they look transparent. Then add the ground beef and when the meet has been browned add the rest of the ingredients. Put the heat in low and stir well and simmer for 1 to 2 hours until you see it is already done and the consistency is as desired. You cans erve this delicious chili with crackers or garlic bread.
