With the cold weather coming, our bodies start demanding more calories. The Italian Roast Beef Sandwich does the trick.
Ingredients:1/2 tablespoon butter, 1 boneless sirloin tip beef roast, 100 grams sliced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon crushed dried red pepper, 1 tablespoon salt, Semi-hard rolls, 1 tablespoon ground thyme.
Instructions: In a Dutch oven, melt butter. Brown roast on all sides. Add remaining ingredients except rolls; cover and simmer until the roast is tender, around 4 hours.Remove meat from broth and reserve broth. Let the meat stand 25 minutes. Trim any fat and thinly slice meat. When ready to serve, reheat sliced broth. Serve on rolls and enjoy!
