Ingredients:2 cups mayo, 3 tablespoon brown sugar (can be also white if preferred), 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 cup raisins, 1 cup chopped pineapple, 3 cups chopped apples, 1 cup chopped walnuts.
History: the apple salad is also known as Waldorf salad.
Instructions: In a salad bowl mix all the ingredients together except the mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice. In a separate bowl, prepare the dressing: mix the mayo, sugar and lemon juice together for dressing. Add the dressing to the salad and mix gently. If you wish, add more dressing to the salad. Chill and serve.
Total Time: 20 minutes.
