Hello again, it’s now time to start with the first recipe: Pan Tumaca (Bread and Tomato).

Its preparation is really simple, but the taste – believe me – is not.Clay Douglass Cooking Secrets - Pan Tumaca

History: Pa amb tomàquet was created in the County of Andalucía, but it reached its popularity in Catalonia where it has become one of the most popular “tapas”.

Total time: 10-15 minutes.

Ingredients: 2 tomatoes, olive oil (extra virgin ideally), white bread, , salt and garlic.

Instructions: you will need to cut a couple of big slices of bread. Then you will just pick a tomato and rub it over each bread slice (on the open side). Finally you season the bread with the olive oil, salt and garlic.


You will like if: you are looking for a quick and healthy breakfast.
